The course will discuss (CAUTI) Catheter-Associated Urinary Tract Infections in the inpatient setting. The bacterial associated considerations during insertion and entering the tubing. The monetary cost of CAUTI to the hospitals. The course will go over appropriate catheter care. Also discussed is evidenced-based practice towards the culture of improvement including CAUTI policies and programs.
